Weekly lawn care
Cut right. Every week.
Mowing height matters more than most people think. Grass cut too short has shallow roots, dries out quickly in summer heat and leaves room for weeds to move in. We keep the lawn at a height that encourages deep roots and a thick, even surface.
Every visit includes a clean, even cut with stand-on and riding mowers sized for the job, plus string trimming around fences, trees, beds and the tight spots a mower can't reach. Clippings are managed so they don't build up into thatch or get left on walks and driveways.
Seeing the lawn every week has another benefit. Our crew can spot changes, like a patch thinning out, signs of grubs or a spot of disease, and let you know early while the problem is still small and easy to address.
Mowing the same way every week is the simplest thing you can do for a lawn.
Know the signs
Reasons to hand off the mowing
Weekends keep disappearing
Mowing, trimming and cleanup can eat a few hours every week from spring into fall. Handing it off gives that time back.
The lawn is patchy or weedy
Cutting too low or too irregularly stresses grass and lets weeds take hold. A steady weekly cut at the right height helps the lawn fill in.
Fence lines get skipped
Trimming is usually the part that falls behind. We trim around fences, beds and obstacles on each visit.
You're traveling or recovering
Sometimes life gets in the way. One customer had Jake take care of their lawn for three months while recovering from surgery.
You want it to look finished
A sharp, even cut with clean trim lines makes the whole property look cared for. That's the standard our crews work to.

How often do you mow?
Our mowing service is weekly through the growing season. Weekly visits keep the grass at a steady height, which is easier on the lawn than taking a lot off at once.
What happens to the clippings?
Clippings are managed to keep thatch from building up and to keep the lawn looking clean, and we blow them off walks and drives. If you have a preference, tell us when we set up service.
Do I need to be home on mowing day?
No. We just need access to the yard, so let us know about gate codes, locks or pets that might be outside.
What if it rains on my mowing day?
Mowing soaking wet grass can tear it and rut the lawn, so heavy rain can shift a visit. If that happens, we'll keep you posted on when the crew will be there.
Can you also handle fertilizing and aeration?
Yes. Lawn fertilization and aeration and seeding are separate services we offer. Ask about adding them, and we'll talk through what your lawn needs.
