West Chicago is our home turf
West Chicago grew up as a railroad town. The Galena and Chicago Union line arrived in 1849, and the rail junction that formed here gave the place its first name, Junction. Today the older blocks around downtown carry big shade trees, and those trees drop a lot of leaves every November. We bring a truck-mounted leaf vacuum with a covered box, pull the piles off your lawn and beds, and haul them away.
Leaves left on the grass over winter smother it, hold moisture and invite mold and pests. Our fall cleanup goes beyond the leaves: we pick up branches and debris, trim back perennials and get flower beds ready for winter, with protective mulch where plants need it. Every yard is different, so we look at the property first and outline the job in detail before we quote.
Once the leaves are handled, the same crew can take care of the rest of the year. That means weekly mowing and trimming, edging, aeration and seeding, fertilizer, mulch, shrub planting, tree work, gutter cleaning, and snow and ice removal for homes and businesses. Older blocks, bigger leaf loads
Streets near the historic downtown have mature shade trees that bury lawns fast in fall. Yards under those trees often need a second pass once the last leaves come down.

Newer streets, wind-blown piles
In newer neighborhoods with younger trees, most leaves blow in from elsewhere and pack against fences, window wells and shrub beds. Those corners are where grass dies first if the leaves sit.

Clear gutters before the freeze
After the leaves fall, gutters and downspouts are usually full. We clear them, flush them with water and haul the debris away so melting snow has somewhere to go.

Do I need to rake the leaves into piles first?
No. We blow and rake the leaves out of the lawn and beds, then vacuum them into the covered box on our truck and haul them off. You can leave the whole job to us.
Do you offer snow removal in West Chicago?
Yes. We clear driveways, walkways and parking lots for homes and businesses and treat icy spots with de-icing treatments. Ask about it when you book your fall cleanup and we will talk through what makes sense.
